Getting Started with Your AI Chatbot

Welcome! This guide walks you through everything you need to get your first AI chatbot up and running — no technical experience required.

What You Can Do

The platform lets you build AI-powered chatbots that actually understand your business. Here is what you can do with it:

  • Create smart chatbots — build chatbots trained on your own documents, FAQs, product descriptions, or any information you provide
  • Add your own knowledge — upload files, paste text, or link content so the chatbot answers from your real business data, not generic internet information
  • Deploy anywhere — publish your chatbot on your website, Telegram, Zalo, or Facebook Messenger with just a few clicks
  • Track conversations — see every conversation customers have with your bot, review what they asked, and spot gaps in your knowledge base

Think of it as hiring a tireless customer support agent who has read every document you have ever written — and is available 24/7.

Creating Your Account

You can create an account in two ways:

  1. Email and password — enter your email address, choose a password, and click Sign Up
  2. Google sign-in — click Continue with Google to create an account instantly using your Google account (no password needed)

Verify Your Email

If you signed up with email and password, you will receive a 6-digit verification code in your inbox within a minute or two.

  1. Open the email from the platform
  2. Copy the 6-digit code
  3. Enter it on the verification screen and click Verify

Note: The verification code expires after a short time. If it has expired or you did not receive it, click Resend Code to get a new one. Check your spam folder if the email does not appear in your inbox.

The Dashboard

Once you log in, you land on your Dashboard — your home base for managing everything.

The main navigation gives you access to:

SectionWhat it does
ChatbotsView, create, and manage all your chatbots
ConversationsLive chat dashboard — monitor and reply to conversations in real time
SubscriptionManage your plan and billing

On the Chatbots page, each chatbot is displayed as a card showing:

  • The chatbot's name
  • Messages sent in the last 30 days
  • Conversations started in the last 30 days
  • Active platforms (website, Telegram, Zalo, etc.)

When you are ready to build, click the New Chatbot button in the top-right corner.

Your First Chatbot

Follow these steps to create your first chatbot:

  1. Click "New Chatbot" on the Chatbots page
  2. Enter a name for your chatbot — this is your internal label, so pick something descriptive like "Customer Support Bot" or "Sales Assistant"
  3. Optional: use AI Generate — if you are not sure what to write, click AI Generate, type a short description of your business or what you want the bot to do, and the AI will draft the chatbot setup for you automatically
  4. Click Create — you will be taken directly to the chatbot settings page where you can fine-tune everything

Tip: Not sure what to name it yet? You can always rename your chatbot later from the settings page.

Configuring Your Chatbot

Basic Information

On the settings page, you can update the fundamentals:

  • Name — the internal name for your reference
  • Description — a short summary shown to users on some platforms (for example, it may appear in the chat header)
  • Status — choose between:
    • Private: only you can access and test the chatbot (great while you are still setting it up)
    • Public: anyone with the link or widget can start a conversation
  • Color — pick a brand color for the chat widget
  • Avatar — upload a square image (your logo or a friendly illustration works well)

System Prompt

The system prompt is the set of instructions that defines how your chatbot behaves — its personality, tone, and boundaries. Think of it as an employee handbook for your bot.

You have two ways to write it:

  • Basic mode — fill in guided fields: role (what the chatbot is), tone (formal, friendly, professional), language, and any restrictions (for example, "only answer questions about our products"). The platform formats the prompt automatically.
  • Advanced mode — write the raw instructions yourself if you want full control over the exact wording.

Tip: Not sure where to start? Click Generate Soul and type a one- or two-sentence description of your business. The AI will write a full chatbot personality for you, which you can then edit to your liking.

AI Settings

Two settings control how the AI responds:

SettingRangeWhat it doesRecommended
Temperature0.0 – 1.0Lower = more precise and consistent answers. Higher = more creative and varied responses.0.3 – 0.5 for customer support
Relevance Threshold0.0 – 1.0How closely a knowledge article must match the question before the bot uses it. Higher = stricter matching.0.7 for most use cases

For most business chatbots — especially customer support or FAQ bots — keep Temperature low (around 0.3–0.5) so your bot gives accurate, consistent answers rather than making things up.

Testing Your Chatbot

Before you go live, test your bot using the built-in preview panel on the right side of the settings page.

  • Type questions exactly as your customers might ask them
  • Check that the answers are accurate and the tone feels right
  • If something is off, adjust the system prompt or add more knowledge content and test again

Tip: Try asking questions you do not have an answer for in your knowledge base — this helps you find gaps before real customers do.

Next Steps

You have created and configured your first chatbot — great work! Here is what to explore next:

  • Knowledge Base — upload documents, paste FAQs, or connect content so your bot has real information to draw from
  • Platform Integrations — deploy your chatbot on your website (embed widget), Telegram, Zalo, or Facebook Messenger
  • Customer CRM — identify and track customers across conversations for better support
  • Intent Detection — teach the bot to recognize specific customer goals (like "request a refund" or "book a demo") and respond in a structured way

Each of these topics has its own guide in the documentation. Take it one step at a time — most users have their chatbot live within an hour of signing up.
